the vehicle design is based on an image from Austin’s mood board, i have several other vehicles including a zepplin, a heli-pack and a plane, that could replace it or be added later.

this is the finished model of one version of the character fully rigged. now i need to place it in a vehicle and animate it.
Gameplay – Character models
-Billy Bettridge
I’ve created a basic steam-punk character model that i’ll use as a basis for modelling the three different ages of the character. on the left there is a photo-realistic render and on the right an ink ‘n paint textured render for a more cartoony look. I still need to model the faces and the vehicle, rig the characters, animate them and then render to put into a sprite sheet.
Gameplay – Moodboard

Having decided on a theme for our game idea, we are now going to decide a graphic direction. to help with this i compiled a mood-board of characters, vehicles and environments from other games. i also included some images associated with Plymouth that could be incorporated into the game.
Gameplay- Vehicle Design
-Billy Bettridge
for the vehicle i took inspiration from the two images in the top left of the mood board and made a heli-pack that the character could wear on his/her back.
Gameplay- Environment design

For the environment i have made a basic level to show a potential layout. As the game is set in Plymouth it makes sense to have at least one level set by the sea. This environment could be developed into a modern or past Plymouth level.
